Chui Wan (吹万) is an experimental psychedelic rock band that commissioned me to create artwork for their full-length album The Landscape the Tropics Never Had. The bilingual visual identity combines soft photography and a unique mix of calligraphy and typography to reflect the album’s ambiguous, poetic, and textured melodies.
Created artwork for the digipak CD, cassette, t-shirts, banners, tour posters, and a 12" vinyl included in a limited edition. Printed in the Czech Republic. The album was released on September 1, 2017, by Maybe Mars.
